• Spay/neuter prior to adoption

• 24 Hr. Pet Watch Microchip & Registration

• 30 Day Sheltercare Pet Insurance


• Age appropriate vaccines (distemper, rabies, bordetella (dogs)

• Dewormer

• FeLv/FIV test (for cats/kittens)

• Heartworm test (for dogs 6 months or older)

• Engraved ID tag

Adoption Overview

By adopting an animal from the SPCA you will not only provide an animal a home, but will open up a space so we can bring another animal in off our waiting list. You may stop by the SPCA anytime during business hours to meet the animals. Our adoption staff will help you select an appropriate match for you and your family. After you have selected a cat or dog for adoption, you will fill out an adoption application (download at right) that will be reviewed and processed within 1-3 days. You must be 18 years old to adopt from the SPCA. A staff member will then call you to set up an adoption appointment.

Our fees are as follows:

Mixed breed dogs/puppies: $110

Purebred dogs/puppies: $120

Puppies: $130 (age 6 months and under)

Mixed breed cats/kittens: $85

Purebred cats/kittens: $100

Dogs/Cats 7 years or older: $55

Adoption of 2 animals:
$10 off each adoption fee

 

Microchipping is now included in the adoption fee.
