Volunteer
We appreciate your interest in volunteering for the Fredericksburg Regional SPCA. You must be at least 16 years old to volunteer. (There are some limitations for individuals under 18 years old wanting to work in the dog areas.) We do not have any positions for children under 16 years old. For information on what children can do to help the animals at the SPCA, please call 898-1500 x304. We do not participate in court ordered community service.

How to begin your volunteer opportunity:
- Download a volunteer application (on right sidebar) or come by the shelter to fill one out
- You will receive a phone call from the volunteer coordinator or a volunteer assistant to schedule an orientation
- At the orientation session you will be scheduled for your initial training session (to be explained during orientation).
